I'm currently a CTRD Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University working in the Rosvall lab. I received my Ph.D. at the University of Georgia with Dr. Kristen Navara and my M.S. at Appalachian State University with Dr. Lynn Siefferman. The overarching goal of my research is to understand how animals respond to challenging social environments. How do brief social interactions lead to long-term changes in physiology and behavior, both within and across generations? What mechanisms encode social experience into organismal function? When is this plasticity adaptive or maladaptive? My work addresses these questions using natural and experimental approaches that integrate genomics and behavioral endocrinology in both the field and lab.
