I'm currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University in the Biology Department in the Rosvall lab. I received my Ph.D. at the University of Georgia in the Poultry Science Department, advised by Dr. Kristen Navara, and my M.S. at Appalachian State University in the Biology Department with Dr. Lynn Siefferman. Broadly, my research interests focus on the molecular and endocrine mechanisms that mediate behavioral plasticity. I have explored how exposure to testosterone during prenatal development affects offspring aggression and genome-wide neural gene expression and methylation in songbirds. Currently, I'm focused on the underlying molecular mechanisms that mediate aggressive behaviors in female birds.
