I'm currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Indiana University in the Biology Department in the Rosvall lab. I received my Ph.D. at the University of Georgia in the Poultry Science Department, advised by Dr. Kristen Navara, and my M.S. at Appalachian State University in the Biology Department with Dr. Lynn Siefferman. Broadly, my research interests focus on how exposure to maternal hormones during prenatal development affect offspring behaviors and the molecular mechanisms that mediate this maternal effect. Currently, I'm exploring this topic in songbirds. I have also been part of several collaborative projects involving songbird conservation, vampire bat disease, and songbird stress hormones.
